Ganesh Chaturthi is my most fav festival.
Being a hindu, I have watched the festival being celebrated every year in the monsoon season. The colors, the Bhajans and the enthusiasm of the people are what make it a wonderful festival.
In my native, Ganesh Chaturthi usually lasts for 1 and 1/2 days to 11 days. But in some events they have it longer also.
Looking forward to it this year also. Will post an updated and colorful post after that
